    Abstract

    The Moo Man is a documentary feature film which World Premiered in Competition at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival, USA. The film was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize and also a British Independent Film Award (BIFA) for Best Documentary.

    The film was produced and directed by Andy Heathcote and Heike Bachelier of Trufflepig Films. It went on to play the top film festivals around the world and was sold to Netflix for screening in 15 countries as well as to Australia, New Zealand and to Film Four in the UK.

    The Moo Man was the first ever UK film to be theatrically distributed using a Crowd Funding scheme. It was self distributed by Trufflepig Films and played 130 UK cinemas over 2013 and 2014.

    The Moo Man had its UK television premiere on Film Four on November 14th 2014.
