Abstract
This chapter explores the evolving intersection of tourism marketing, sustainability, and digital innovation, presenting a conceptual framework that integrates technological advancements with sustainable development goals. Moving beyond conventional marketing paradigms, it emphasizes the role of internal marketing, green branding, interactive strategies, and the reconfiguration of the marketing mix into a sustainability-oriented 4Cs model. The study highlights how emerging technologies—such as Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things, Blockchain, and Virtual Reality—can enhance transparency, efficiency, and consumer engagement while promoting environmentally responsible practices. It argues that tourism marketing must shift from short-term value optimization to long-term sustainable impact. By synthesizing existing literature and theoretical perspectives, the chapter provides practical and theoretical contributions for Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs), Small and Medium Tourism Enterprises (SMTEs), and scholars. Ultimately, it offers actionable insights into how digital innovation can serve as a strategic enabler for advancing sustainability in tourism marketing.
