    Abstract

Online, distance, and/or hybrid teaching and learning (T&L) requires the development of inclusive T&L patterns to build students’ confidence in using technology and learning in the digital space. Hence, this work proposes interactive multimedia technological patterns (iMMT) to guide T&L delivery and assessment within the Virtual Classroom, while supporting an inclusive students’ experience. The proposed iMMT model encompasses the Student-Centered Perspective and meets the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) criteria, while it goes beyond the Technology, Pedagogical, and Content Knowledge (TPACK) model and the Substitution, Augmentation, Modification, Redefinition (SAMR) model. Furthermore, the developed iMMT patterns cover a variety of synchronous and asynchronous T&L activities, offering an inclusive digital learning environment, addressing diverse student learning needs. This talk will present the iMMT patterns as well as discuss examples and results of the application of the iMMT model in context of inclusive virtual classrooms.
