Abstract
Telehealth technology has revolutionized the medical field in the modern day. Daily, a sizable amount of data is kept on servers and cloud platforms. This data is then used to verify the patient's history and to find hidden trends and patterns that can be used to predict the patient's future health. These days, telehealth devices are built into watches and mobile devices, which are utilized by people of all ages. However, governments are offering such devices to older people to monitor their health in real-time. The senior population in Hong Kong is extremely dense, and their healthcare costs constitute a significant financial burden. As a result, they started a new initiative where they gave older people cloud-connected healthcare devices and recorded their daily vital signs. In this session, I'll go over a case study where the system lost a week's worth of data, which resulted in a resource loss. We have created a surveillance system that effectively detects systemic irregularity. Additionally, we put the suggested monitoring system into practice in the case study mentioned above and discovered positive outcomes for managing the data quality, which will result in resource savings. We think that using our method will improve data quality, resulting in better geriatric health monitoring.
