Abstract
This, the second of two articles, draws attention to issues and concerns that constrain secondary Religious Education (RE) in contemporary Scotland. It focuses on resources for RE related to inadequate staff support and shortage of qualified RE teachers. It concludes that Scottish RE requires more support than is currently been given if the subject is to have a competitive edge on a modern school curriculum.
