Abstract

This short film journeys through darkness (distress, mental ill-health, suicidality and broken skin) and light (movement, space, ocean and touch). The terrain is sensorially rich and emotionally challenging. The journey may risky, the terrain dangerous. No final outcome is forthcoming. A song, Sand in Sculpture, helps keep us afloat, alive and clinging to hope.
