Abstract

The provision landscape of health and social care services and their integration in Scotland is complex. This involves partner organisations from across the public, private and social economy sectors operating in the challenging conditions, but which provides an opportunity for a strategic response and reform. It is important to deeply understand the current care ecosystem to influence and lead the change that brings positive outcomes for individuals and communities. This presentation outlines how the research on Culture and Leadership for Integration (CLI) could be used to assess the advantages and disadvantages of social economy cultures and leadership for driving a greater integration of the sector and care advocacy.
