    Abstract

This paper presents part of the results of a survey that took place in manufacturing companies of five different sectors, of large and small/medium size located in Scotland and Greece. The survey is part of an ongoing research and was used to determine the current awareness and interest amongst businesses regarding Quality management models and related methodologies. In this paper, the responses related to performance measures are analysed. It notes a gap between the indicators actually used and those considered as most important by the companies surveyed.
