Abstract

The determination of the 0°- 180° asymmetry (Aγ), which arises due to the parity violating matrix element, in the 751keV γ-decay of polarized 17/2- isomers in 93Tc with respect to the direction of polarization is reported. A combined analysis of the present results together with those of M. Hass et al.(Phys. Lett. B 371, 25 (1996)) yields Aγ = 4.8(2.1)×10-4.
