The invention relates to a new γ crystal modification of the pigment of formula (I) characterized by a CuKα X-ray powder diagram having maxima at 8.5, 14.7, 17.2, 26.0 and 28.4 2Θ, as well as to a process for its preparation and compositions comprising it.
