    Abstract

Equipped with psychological theories of development, the authors of this chapter argue that impacts of mobile use should be situated in different contexts, in which mobile use can be influenced by the behavior of people within them. Besides their advocacy of situated and integrated approach to examinations of determinants of online and offline behavior and development on mobile use and impacts, the authors also call for interdisciplinary and integrated approach to capture the complexity of technology and behavior through identifying individual differences.
