    Abstract

Kristallpalast is an interactive virtual reality experience that immerses participants in the photo-realistic environment of New Zealand's oldest remaining 35mm film projection booth. A space rendered by photogrammetry where the fragility of the analogue world all too soon becomes dramatically deconstructed by the contemporary digital algorithms that now direct our collective viewing habits. Created in collaboration with the ISO digital design studio and premiered as part of the VR programme at Glasgow Short Film Festival 2019.
