International Handbook of the Religious, Moral and Spiritual Dimensions in Education

This collection addresses the religious, moral and spiritual dimensions in education, presenting the research and professional practice of scholars who are engaged daily in the consideration of these aspects of learning and teaching. In building upon the original handbook, this new collection draws on a range of theoretical frameworks and perspectives to highlight contemporary issues relating to the religious, moral and spiritual dimensions in education (including AI and digital culture, the post-pandemic world, globalization, interfaith education, political realities of changing worldview landscapes, citizenship education for an inclusive and democratic culture). It also suggests some pedagogical ways in which these issues might be addressed across the different sectors of education – early childhood, primary/elementary, secondary, tertiary as well as in education the community.
