Abstract

This chapter presents research findings from a study on the Exit Festival in Novi Sad, Serbia. This music festival started as a political event organized by students who opposed the policies of Slobodan Milošević in the year 2000. The chapter critically assesses the political contexts and narratives that position the social and cultural impacts of the Exit Festival/movement.
