Abstract
This good practice guide draws on insights gained from the UKRI and British Academy funded EDI Caucus. Diary studies were undertaken with a network of Equity Champions based in a range of UK research and innovation organisations. In total, eight EDI training sessions were delivered over a two-year period and data gathered from Equity Champions were analysed to produce this guide. Two additional co-design sessions also offered Equity Champions the opportunity to further and refine this report. This report, drawn from the experiences of participants, outlines principles which underpin successful EDI training.
