Abstract

In 2021, I gave evidence to two of the work streams involved in domestic abuse reform in France. This evidence was informed by the expertise within the Dumfries and Galloway Domestic Abuse Violence Against Women and Girls Partnership.

This 2000 word article documents the antecedents to and process of reform of domestic abuse law in France. This article is intended to give Scottish practitioners and services an alternative perspective on a shared problem.
