Abstract

This paper presents a novel people counting system based on weighted fusing technique usingcamera and infrared sensors. Conventional techniques are based image vision data to countpeople. However, these vision-based people counting methods frequently fail due to irregularillumination change and crowded environment and some geometrical limitation that may affectthe accuracy level of these systems. In this paper, a dynamic data fusion technique is provided inorder to provide more accuracy results.
