    Abstract

This systematic literature review investigates the intersection of digitalisation and entrepreneurial transformation in higher education institution, exploring how these dynamics impact institutions. The study delves into what renders higher education more entrepreneurial, evaluates the influence of digital technologies on this process. The authors collected 131 documents from the Scopus and analysed them using VoSviewer. The results show that studies on the entrepreneurial universities started since 1998 and despite its increasing interest, research on entrepreneurial transformation of higher education institution remains fragmented. Also, studies from the digital transformation perspective have been very limited.
