Dementia Champions Programme: involving people affected by dementia in dementia education

The aim of this conference presentation was to have an interactive sessions where firstly participants would hear about how people affected by dementia have been part of the education team for the National Dementia Champions education programme for hospital staff. Secondly participants had the opportunity to influence the current and future Dementia Champions programmes by telling the conference presenters what their #oneweething was which would improve the hospital experience of people with dementia and their families.
