Abstract
The survey is aimed at identifying trends in labour history, which helps in gaining an insight into the general trends in the study of labour history. It is indicated that the Australian labour history has incorporated broader areas of concern by broadening significantly from its traditional focus on institutional histories and biographies and it is suggested that class, race and gender, co-operation, ideology are the areas of concern which remain on the periphery of Australian labour history interest and research.
