Research output: Contribution to conferencePresentation

Abstract

Crisis is low probability and high consequences event that threaten the organizations’ survival. The basic idea is to study and comprehend diverse means of PBO to deal/manage crisis; scrutinize from capability and project team network perspective. To serve this purpose I am planning to have three papers in my dissertation. First, I will study different types of crisis and its impact on PBO performance; and PBOs’ capability/s to handle and manage crisis. Possible research questions are (1) What are different kinds/nature of crisis that could impact on PBO’s performance? (2) What are different capabilities of PBO to handle/ manage crisis? Second, I am working on project team network influence on decision making in crisis with research questions (1) Why do project teams explore and exploit network for decision making in crisis? (2) What are the antecedents of project team network and decision making in crisis? However, the last paper is extension of second paper, in which I am looking from intra and inter project team network with possible research question (1) What is the impact of network within project team and network across project team on decision making in crisis?
