Abstract

In June 2016, the United Kingdom (UK) voted to leave the European Union (EU) by a slight 51.9 per cent majority.1 While only representing a small proportion of the UK’s total economic output, at around 0.04per cent of GVA,2 fisheries is an important political issue in the Brexit debate.
