‘Be a swiss army knife with one unique tool’: bringing industry knowledge into the tertiary classroom

Abstract

Tertiary instructors bring a wealth of professional experience to the classroom, helping to ensure that learners are prepared for the realities of the working world. However, tertiary staff need access to relevant and industry-driven career-long professional learning (CLPL) to keep their knowledge and skills up to date, particularly those hailing from industries undergoing transformational change at a breakneck pace.
