Abstract

We are going to spend most of our time today setting out the scale and significance of using artificial intelligence, and what this means for the Nigerian healthcare sector.

Our main message is that the significance of artificial intelligence has not been fully taken on board in our assessment of the challenges facing the health sector. We will place these challenges in a broader context, drawing on lessons from the EU Artificial Intelligence Act.
