Secondary data will be collected from data banks such as the Cocoa Association of Nigeria, Agricultural Development Bank and Nigerian Bureau of Statistics. This data will be statistically analysed using tools such as Ms-Excel, SPSS and ANOVA. Thereafter, the results will be presented in charts and graphs.

2. Investigate the current practices in the supply chain of the coca industry in Nigeria through extensive data gathering with the purpose of identifying the key issues governing production, processing and trading of cocoa products in Nigeria

4. Indicate the implications of the result from the research and suggest new approaches for efficient and effective supply chain practices in the Nigerian Cocoa Industry.
Practical implications
This research will be useful to Nigeria’s Cocoa industry, it will be useful to decisions maker in the Cocoa industry in Nigeria, it will be useful to the academic work and it will be useful to future research students.
Social Implications
It will help trade and development in Nigeria and the importing countries around the world.
