    Currently, Japan faces a critical labour shortage in most employment sectors, including in the care of the elderly and long-term care sectors. To tackle this shortage, the country has created various pathways to invite foreign workers, and has begun recruiting Specified Skilled Workers (SSWs), Technical Trainees (TTs), and students in a variety of technical fields, from a number of Asian countries, including Nepal
