EU H2020 Maire Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Innovative Training Networks (ITN) Consortium on Energy Autonomous Sensors and Systems (EASSY)

Project: Research

Project Details

Description

This project aims build a consortium and submit a proposal for upcoming call on Maire Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Innovative Training Networks (ITN) 2019 through a strong European consortium under the EU Horizon 2020 framework programme. As part of PEER Activity, the PI will visit Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) in Spain, to prepare, finalise and submit a MSCA-ITN 2019 proposal in collaboration with Prof. Basilio Javier Garcia at UAM and Prof. Desmond Gibson at University of West of Scotland (UWS).
This PEER Activity aims to create a potential consortium of collaborators, working in the field of energy systems and sensors, comprising multi-sensing electronic devices (light, gas, bio, magnetic, etc.), low-power electronics (nanophotonic devices), energy storage devices (i.e. supercapacitors) and energy harvesting technology (triboelectronics, piezoelectronics, and photovoltaics). During PEER Activity, there will be intensive meetings focused on the preparation of the MSCA-ITN 2019 proposal, comprising proposal outline preparation, securing academic and industrial collaborators, partners writing deliveries, consolidation of the proposal aims/milestones/scopes, and proposal submission (deadline 15th January 2019).
