Project Details
Description
This project will involve desk-based assessments and explore relevant industry network to map the use and production of ceramic waste materials in the food and drink sector. Ceramics are problematic for direct resource recovery, by providing research-based options appraisal, will identify direction to further reduce environmental impact of the craft drinks and wider sector in relation to baseline carbon management. Main focus on production at Dunnet Bay Distillers Ltd, we will undertake an “industrial ecology” framework evaluation of waste arisings and
feasibility of recycling/up cycling materials where aesthetic impact is valid.
