AIV Testing a new type of reusable mask for user fit and comfort TensARC

Leakage testing to ASTM F3502-21 would achieve recognition for use in an occupational setting (OSHA Workplace Plus); the facegaiter’s non-traditional shape and style presents instrumentation and other challenges not yet accommodated in the testing industry. Also, data from wearers will inform handling and care instructions, including data comparing the facegaiter and a respirator as to ease of use, comfort, etc. When conducting leakage testing, tensARC will measure the facial dimensions of subjects, to gain insight into fit levels across diverse facial shapes and sizes, to build an evidence base of its universal fit features.
