The Students' Union UWS (SAUWS) Big Awards recognise all the great work that goes on across the UWS from staff and from students.
This award recognises an individual teaching member of staff who, in the view of students, has significantly enhanced the student learning experience in the current academic year.

Criteria:
Innovative teaching methods and the content of teaching
Ability to motivate and engage students to help them achieve specific learning objectives
Demonstrate enthusiasm, knowledge, and a genuine passion for their subject area
Encourages and facilitates active learning through partnership working including discussion, debate, co-creation and co-production of learning
Gives prompt and formative feedback
