Carnegie Trust for the Universities of Scotland- Research Incentive Grant

This project focuses on the lives of three Scottish men at various levels of the English East India Company hierarchy. By studying their lives through how they perceived, developed, and deployed law, it seeks to better understand the relationship between the Company and British colonialism.
