Dr Ahammed received the prestigious BCP Award in recognition of his work engaging the community in the census and organising the Men’s Mental Health Project through the Bangla Centre SCIO. This dedicated community initiative was funded by Foundation Scotland. He also led and supported the organisation’s application to Glasgow Life to secure a community hall for local activities and services.
