Personal profile

Overview

I earned my PhD from Heriot-Watt University, where I conducted research on hollow-core photonic crystal fibres and twisted optical fibres. In 2017, I joined the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light as a postdoctoral researcher, focusing on chirally twisted photonic crystal fibres. In 2021, I moved to the Paul Scherrer Institute to pursue research in computational polarised-light microscopy.

My research interests span photonic crystal fibres, nonlinear optics, vortex optics, and polarised-light imaging.
