Overview

Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering at the School of Computing, Engineering and Physical Sciences. Researcher in Renewable Energy Systems, Hydrogen fuel cells and electrolysers. I am a member of the Engineering, Design and Manufacture (EDM) subject group and a member of the Institute of Engineering and Energy Technology (IEET).

Current research activities

Supervising two(2) Ph.D students working on fuel cells. My research area cover a wide range of mechanical related projects. My primary area of interest is experimental investigation and optimization of renewable energy systems as well as hydrogen fuel cell cars. I am presently investigating the effect of membrane thickness on the overall performance of hydrogen fuel cells and electrolysers. Material characterization of various components in the fuel cell is also another research investigation being conducted under my supervision.
