Academic interests
My academic interests span immigration and asylum law and ‘access to justice’ issues broadly.
Current research
My current research employs socio-legal research methods to examine adversarialism in the Immigration and Asylum Tribunal. I am interested in the way that people work together in legal settings as a ‘workgroup’. My research also examines ‘law and emotions’ in the context of the tribunal, and I focus in particular on prosocial values such as cooperation and kindness.
