Current Work

My research is about the role and function of values in individual, team and organization development.

Human Resource Development; training, coaching, mentoring systems and practices for realising potential, including systems for supporting wellbeing

Fair & Decent Work; modelling and measuring decent work, from the employer persepective, in large employers including Local Authorites, and in the SME sector including manufacturing, hospitality, retail and service organizations, and health/social care.

Social Innovations through culture change, work and management adopting non-hierarchical cultures and values based approaches to leading and performance 

Desired Direction

HRD and FDW are key themes in management and inter-disciplinary research; including health and mental wellbeing, social responsibility, skills and innovation.
