I am a Lecturer in the Division of Management, Organisations and People in the School of Business and Creative Industries.
I am an Associate Fellow of Advance HE (AFHEA) and I have a PhD in Supply Chain Management from Coventry University entitled "Maximising the circular economy and sustainability outcomes: an end-of-life tyre recycling outlets selection model".
Prior to my academic career, I worked as a research assistant. I undertook both quantitative and qualitative research in areas relating to sustainability, logistics and supply chain management.
My academic expertise centres around logistics and supply chain management, sustainability, circular economy and optimisation.
I have taught across a number of our Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes such as BA (Hons) Business and MSc International Management. I have brought my professional expertise into my teaching, leading Undergraduate modules on Skills and Work Based Learning.
I have been involved in delivering a range of Business Management focused modules across SCQF Levels 7-11. My current teaching focuses on delivering Research Methods to students on the BA Business, marketing, Finance, events and management programme, as well as knowledge management. I also supervise MBA and Master’s dissertations.
