Dr Shazia Parveen is a Lecturer in Management in the School of Business and Creative Industries at the University of the West of Scotland (UWS). She holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PGCAP) and is a Fellow of Advance HE (FHEA). She teaches across both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in business and management, with expertise in Sustainability, Human Resource Management, Organisational Behaviour, Innovation Management and Leadership

Prior to joining UWS, Dr Parveen held academic roles at the University of Leicester, contributing to teaching and research in business and management. She has also served in editorial roles for peer-reviewed journals specialising in business transformation and environmental sustainability.

Her research explores the intersection of sustainability, leadership, organisational behaviour, innovation, and digital transformation, with particular interests in sustainable leadership, circular economy, green organisational behaviour and the integration of digital and environmental strategies to enhance organisational performance. Her PhD examined the impact of organisational culture on innovation and its influence on organisational performance, contributing to both theoretical and applied research in business and management.

Dr Parveen's research has been published in leading international journals, and she actively integrates contemporary research into her teaching to enhance student learning and professional development. She welcomes opportunities for research collaboration in sustainability, responsible management, organisational behaviour, leadership, innovation, and business transformation.
