Overview
Shaun is an award-winning filmmaker currently casting his debut feature THE PROSPECT, with support from Screen Scotland/BFI, in collaboration with Selkie Productions and Good Chaos. In 2026 Shaun pitched his feature MAGNUS at BIF Market, and participated in Take Three’s Incubator. Shaun was selected for Story Circle (2024), a screenwriting lab with Franz Rodenkirchen and Françoise von Roy. Previous labs include: Reykjavík/EIFF Talent Labs (2015) SFTN’s Shorts to Features (2018); Stowe Story Lab (2018), Writer’s Retreat (2019), and Feature Campus (2021). Shaun’s BFI-funded short BUNNY won the CELTIC MEDIA TORC AWARD (2019), aired on BBC Scotland’s THE NEXT BIG THING, and was distributed by Altered Innocence. Shaun is a member of BAFTA Connect, has an MA in Film Directing (awarded with distinction), and an MFA in Fine Art. His graduation film won a BAFTA New Talent award. Shaun is currently developing a slate of five features and a TV series.
