Selman's research areas are HRM and Talent Management. His current research interest is about exploring the different perspectives on Talent management and how organisational members are influenced by talent management practices. He has publications in peer-reviewed journals.
He has taught on undergraduate and postgraduate modules covering; Managing Creativity and Change, Human Resource Management, Organisational Behaviour.
