Sandro Carnicelli is a Professor of Tourism and Leisure Studies and the Deputy Director of the Centre for Culture, Sport, and Events (CCSE) at the University of the West of Scotland, UK. Sandro has published articles in international journals, including Annals of Tourism Research,Tourism Management, Annals of Leisure Research, Journal of Teachingin Travel & Tourism, and World Leisure. He is a member of the ABRATUR (International Academy for the Development of Tourism Research in Brazil), and a former Co-Chair of the Royal Society of Edinburgh Young Academy of Scotland (YAS).
Sandro is the Editor-in-Chief of the World Leisure Journal and Associate Editor for Event Management journal , he is on the Advisory Board of the Annals of Leisure Research, and on the editorial board of Tourism Management Perspectives and Leisure Studies.
