Overview

My principle area of research and consultancy specialism is in strategic management.

I have conducted research and consultancy work in the following sectors:

- tourism (from SMEs to multi-nationals)

- electronic manufacturing,

- education,

- agriculture and aquaculture

- voluntary/third sector organisations.

I am currently also actively involved in a Govrnmet funded project exploring the development of enteprises in remote and rural areas.

I am also active in researching University to industry links and have been a full member of Scottish and UK committees for Business Schools.

As Assistant Dean (International) I also lead on developing and managing bespoke training courses for international groups of delegates in Scotland and in London (most recently from Russia and China; one week, two week and 12 week training courses).
