Area of academic expertise - outline

Research interests include dementia, advanced dementia, dementia and criminal justice, dementia education and dementia care giver support. Qualitative methodologies, knowledge exchange, improvement science, learning transfer and practitioner research.

Current research activities

Rhoda currently leads a Dunhill Medical Trust funded project into dementia in prison. The recently awarded RSE workshop grant will build on this project. She also leads an Insitutional Seedcorn Grant funded by the RS Macdonald Trust to grow a vibrant interdisciplinary community of dementia researchers at UWS. following on from being a Visiting Research Scholar at the University of Saskatchewan in 2017 Rhoda has worked on a number of international research grants based in Canada.

Rhoda is a Divisional Post Graduate Research coordinator and a Phd Supervisor. She welcomes inquiries about examining and from potential students interested in undertaking postgraduate research.
