Area of academic expertise - outline

Research interests include dementia, advanced dementia, dementia education and dementia care giver support. Qualitative methodologies, knowledge exchange, improvement science, learning transfer and practitioner research.

Current research activities

Developing dementia research and enterprise within the Alzheimer Centre for Policy and Practice Centre. Rhoda collaborates extensively with Canadian colleagues and was a Visiting Research Scholar at the University of Saskatchewan in 2017. She works on a number of international research grants based in Canada and was co-investigator on a project to evaluate the social impact of dementia friendly walking football with Eilidh Macrae (UWS). Her most recent research will explore dementia in prison.
