My expertise spans programming, website development and production, HCI & UE (UX) Design, information systems and data warehouse environment. Some of the languages etc. used include: C++, C#, Java, J Query, J Query Mobile, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, VB6, VB.NET, ASP, ASP.NET, .NET core, Python, PHP, ActionScript, Dark Basic, SQL. I have used many various platforms from notepad to visual studio

While working for UWS I spent a significant amount of time in China, at Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology I planned, wrote materials for and taught various computing related subjects for large groups of keen and interesting International University students. I also visited Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture with a group of UWS engineering students, having taught myself Mandaring prior to my first visit to China, then improving on that since, i was able to give a speech, partially in Mandarin, at their International Summer School.

I have visited /or had visit us at UWS a great number of schools in; Dumfries & Galloway, Pailsy and Hamilton

This includes working with D&G council for the Raspberry Pi Project (Raspberry Pi's being small computers). For this I wrote materials, trained and led a group of UWS students where we sucessfully delivered workshops to nearly 3000 wonderful pupils at all 17 Dumfries & Galloway state secondary schools.
