Raleigh Gowrie

Highly experienced and successful strategic and operational manager within higher education with a focus on managing stakeholder interests, programmes, budgets, staff and students. Over 20 years’ experience in academic lecturing, teaching and academic programme management in sports-related disciplines, with expertise in elite sport development; athlete dual careers; physical education; and school sport.

Previously provided strategic lead to performance sport at the University of Stirling, Scotland’s University for Sporting Excellence. Have led, and successfully delivered bids for Scottish Funding Council strategic projects, evaluated sports project bids and measured impact return from sports project investment.
