Overview
I am a University of the West of Scotland (UWS) Lecturer and have been a qualified midwife since 2011. I have worked in maternity services in London and Glasgow, in a variety of roles prior to joining UWS in 2023. My clinical experience includes work as a community midwife, specialist public health and safeguarding roles, and work as a family nurse with Family Nurse Partnership. My research interests reflect this experience with a focus on maternal mental health and complex social needs within maternity services. I completed an Msc Health Studies in 2024 and currently teach and coordinate modules on the BSc and MSc midwifery programmes at UWS.
