Dr. Nga Nguyen is a Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at the University of the West of Scotland. She holds a PhD in Finance (with magna cum laude) from Dresden University of Technology, Germany and an MBA from Kyoto University, Japan.

Her previous roles include visiting scholar at Penn State University, US; Kyoto University, Japan, and research associate at Dresden University of Technology. She currently leads Cafe Talk Team at the AVSE Global's Finance and Banking Network.

Nga's research focuses on behavioural finance, corporate finance, and financial markets.
