Personal profile
Overview
I have worked in a range of health and social care settings for 30+ years and qualified as a social worker in 1997. I have worked as a social worker and practice educator in South London and South West Scotland, working with young people leaving care and older adults in hospital and community based teams. Prior to joining UWS in 2016, I was employed as a practice educator in a local authority social work department, working with student social workers during assessed practice placements and delivering a variety of learning and development activities for social work staff across the authority.
I am a qualified mindfulness teacher, registered with the UK Network of Mindfulness-based teachers.
