I have had the pleasure and honour of working in nurse education for 28 years. During this time I have held senior positions, mainly in programme and line management, at Robert Gordon University and UWS.



Area of academic expertise - outline

I have conducted research in the following areas:

Attitudes of young men and woman toward Rape.

Coping mechansims and Burnout amongst Hospice nurses.

Current research activities

Currently I am involved in examining the psychological, social and behavioral impact of shift pattern working.

I am also collating service user comments regarding their experience of being cared for by Adult BSc students.

I supervise MSc pre-registration students.
