Overview

Dr Mark Stansfield is programme leader for the BSc(Hons) Business Technology in the School of Engineering and Computing at the University of the West of Scotland. He teaches on undergraduate modules such as 'Social Media for Business', 'Research Methods in Computing', as well as 'Computing Honours Project'. Postgraduate modules include 'Mobile Business Technology and Design', and 'Technology for Digital Marketing'. He has written and co-written more than 80 refereed papers in areas that include e-learning, virtual campuses, mobile learning, games-based learning and interpretive systems thinking.

He also serves on the editorial board of the International Journal of Information Management, as well as being a reviewer for the Journal of Information Systems Education, ALT-J, Computers & Education, and the Journal of IT Education.
